Verein zur Förderung des Kompetitiven Programmierens e.V. (in the following referred to to as "CPUlm") stores and processes personal data of volunteers for NWERC 2025 (in the following referred to as "contest") through the volunteer management system "helfertool". CPUlm processes this data to organize and carry out the contest, manage volunteer shifts, and provide necessary services to volunteers.
Volunteers may optionally subscribe to CPUlm's newsletter to receive information about future programming contests and similar events (e.g. NWERC 2026).
- Data collected: Email address and name only
- Purpose: Informing subscribers about upcoming contests and volunteer opportunities
- Retention period: Email addresses and names will be stored until after NWERC 2026
- Voluntary basis: Newsletter subscription is entirely optional and does not affect volunteer participation
- Unsubscribe: Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time by contacting CPUlm directly
